Jack Wilson is a true American hero, no matter what the left says.  He saved who knows how many lives last month with his quick thinking, his bravery, and his gun.

Jack is, of course, the man who stopped an active shooter in his church in White Settlement, Texas with one single bullet.

A quick recap:

Bad guy comes into church with a gun.  Bad guy wasn’t supposed to have a gun, but bad guys don’t follow the rules.  Bad guy starts shooting the congregation.  Good guy takes out his own gun and ends the threat of bad guy.

The Virginia Senate on Wednesday passed a "red flag" law that would allow authorities to temporarily seize the firearm of someone deemed a threat, a measure that was strongly opposed by gun rights advocates who swarmed the streets around the state Capitol on Monday.

Democrats might wield power in the Old Dominion, but gun rights backers haven’t given up the fight.

As lawmakers met Monday to consider a slew of gun control bills, they were greeted by “thousands” of Second Amendment supporters determined to voice their opposition, The Washington Free Beacon reported.

Even in the face of that kind of popular discontent, four measures moved forward in the state’s Senate Judiciary Committee, thanks to a Democratic majority, though some were in slightly weakened form, The Free Beacon reported.

A new email blast from anti-gun billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety makes it clear the gun prohibition lobbying group wants to see the U.S. House pass a new national red flag law, declaring “We need our U.S. Representatives to keep gun violence prevention as a legislative priority.”

On 29 December, at about 10:50 a.m. a masked attacker, who had sat in the service at the West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, close to Fort Worth Texas, opened fire, first on an armed church member, then on an unarmed congregant. The attacker is shot by another armed congregant. The action was over in six seconds.

By the 35 second mark, there were six to seven armed congregants at the scene. There was no crossfire. There was no mistaken identity shooting. Only three or four shots were fired. Two or three by the attacker, one by the defender.

Gun control did not become politically acceptable until the Gun Control Act of 1968 signed into law by President Lyndon B. Johnson.

The law's primary focus was to regulate commerce in firearms by prohibiting interstate firearms transfers except among licensed manufacturers, dealers, and importers.

Tyranny-loving Progressives are on the march again, and the Second Amendment is in their crosshairs. Recent shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, energized the Radical Left and they pounced on these tragedies like Michael Moore on a Twinkie. This month's edition of the Outdoor Patriot Show takes on the Gun Grabbers.

Plus, the show's special guest this month is YouTube hunting sensation Mullet Man.

Well, if Beto O’Rourke was hoping that the latest FBI crime stats would bolster his call for an Australia-style gun ban, he’s got to be feeling very disappointed. O’Rourke has been talking down to anyone who falls short of his demands for infringements – really a wholesale denial – of the right to keep and bear arms.

FBI crime stats for 2018 show more people were killed with hammers and clubs than were shot and killed with rifles.

According to FBI figures, 443 people were killed with hammers, clubs, or other “blunt objects” while 297 people were killed with rifles of every kind.
