Political Establishment Uses Manufactured Social Wars to Distract from Economic Collapse

Peter Thiel, founder co-founder of the tech giant PayPal, told an audience at the Republican National Convention that establishment politicians from both political parties are using the smoke and mirrors of social issues to distract Americans from government’s massive economic failures.

Despite pockets of economic prosperity and American success stories like Thiel’s rise to the top in Silicon Valley, Americans across the country are facing the worst wage stagnation they’ve seen in decades while cost of living continues to increase exponentially.

Thiel contends that Washington insiders like Hillary Clinton have for too long been isolated from such harsh economic realities and, therefore, are only capable of making matters worse.

“Americans get paid less today than ten years ago. But healthcare and college tuition cost more every year. Meanwhile Wall Street bankers inflate bubbles in everything from government bonds to Hillary Clinton’s speaking fees. Our economy is broken,” he said.
