"Duck Dynasty" star Willie Robertson has spoken out against gun control, arguing that the push for more regulation is simply an attempt to blame something else for larger failures in society.

Appearing on Fox News's Outnumbered <http://nation.foxnews.com/2015/10/27/duck-dynastys-willie-robertson-slams-sweeping-gun-control-calls>  on October 27, the reality TV star stated, "Guns are regulated. Referring to Democratic leaders who push gun control after every shooting, Robertson said <http://nation.foxnews.com/2015/10/27/duck-dynastys-willie-robertson-slams-sweeping-gun-control-calls> , "The problem [is] they keep looking at something else to blame, which is the guns."

He referenced in particular the tragic incident at Oklahoma State University on October 24, when a 25-year-old woman with a history of mental illness barreled into spectators at a homecoming parade, killing 4 and wounded 50.

"God forbid we find out that that car that just went through that parade," he said. "God forbid she has mental illness and that's why she just ran her car through. Are we taking cars away now? Because they can be just as lethal [as guns]."
